Andrew (“Andy”) McDonnell is a 2nd generation Board Certified Ocularist, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began his career in the field of Ocularistry in 2011, working as an apprentice for his father, Roy McDonnell, BCO, BADO. 

 

Andy has been Board Certified with the American Society of Ocularists since 2017. He takes great pride in his work and creating custom prosthetic eyes for his patients. Each artificial eye is custom fit to the patient’s socket, and hand painted to create a natural appearance. 

 

When not at work, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids, great dane, and three cats.
